Nyngan is one step closer to a new, state-of-the-art water treatment plant as planning work gets off the ground thanks to a $490,000 investment from the NSW Government and $160,000 from Bogan Shire Council.

The Parkes community is well on its way to securing future-proof and drought-resilient water services for decades to come as construction wraps up on the first stage of a major water infrastructure overhaul.

The department is pleased to advise that the business case and scoping study for the upgrade of Wilcannia Weir are now available for review.
