One of the largest water security projects ever undertaken in the North West region of New South Wales is complete, with Quipolly Dam now connected to the taps of residents in Quirindi and Werris Creek through a new $36.9 million world-class water

Western NSW residents are invited to continue discussions about the Fish Passage Project at Louth next Wednesday 29 May.

An extra 147 megalitres of water has been returned to the environment thanks to the completion of a $2.4 million critical infrastructure upgrade at Nap Nap Station near Hay in southwest New South Wales.

The local community will have extra time to get involved, share knowledge and give feedback during the Reconnecting River Country Program’s first feedback stage, with the deadline to apply extended to 15 October.

Private landholders, First Nations people and community organisations are invited to share their local knowledge and expertise to help shape the future of the Reconnecting River Country Program.
