The NSW Government is welcoming feedback on the draft Richmond River Area Water Sharing Plan, a framework that provides for more equitable and sustainable water use in the region over the next decade.

The local community will have extra time to get involved, share knowledge and give feedback during the Reconnecting River Country Program’s first feedback stage, with the deadline to apply extended to 15 October.

Private landholders, First Nations people and community organisations are invited to share their local knowledge and expertise to help shape the future of the Reconnecting River Country Program.
