Armidale’s one step closer to securing an upgraded sewage treatment plant, with design work underway to overhaul the current facility thanks to over $1.2 million being invested by the NSW Government and Armidale Regional Council.

The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (NSW DCCEEW) has announced a temporary water restriction for the Upper Murrumbidgee River in the Murrumbidgee I and II water sources from Friday 10 May 2024 to Wednesday 31 July
