Residents across the NSW central Murray region are invited to have their say on key elements of the draft Murray Floodplain Management Plan, an important tool to manage rural flood works and their valley-wide effects on flows and connectivity.

An upgrade to Bega’s ageing sewage treatment plant is in the works following a $200,000 NSW Government investment to kickstart the design and planning stages.

The historic town of Moama is one step closer to locking in a new or upgraded sewage treatment plant thanks to $300,000 from the NSW Government and $200,000 from Murray River Council.

Yass is moving towards the development of a major upgrade of its sewage treatment plant thanks to $275,000 being invested by the NSW Government and Yass Valley Council to look at ways to improve its wastewater service.
