Water Users along the NSW Coast and in the Southern Inland will be given extra time to install non-urban metering equipment in the wake of unrelenting rainfall and widespread flooding.

The NSW Government has announced the release of a robust new metering framework to measure and meter non-urban water take in NSW, which commenced last weekend on 1 December.

New South Wales (NSW), Victoria, South Australia and Commonwealth government departments have been working together to determine how efficiency measure projects will be rolled out under the Murray-Darling Basin Plan.
