What area does the plan cover?
The Lachlan Alluvium Water Resource Plan covers groundwater within the alluvial deposits of the upper and lower Lachlan River and the Belubula River.
The Lachlan Alluvium (GW10) is composed of the following three sustainable diversion limit resource units (SDL resource units):
- Lower Lachlan Alluvium (GS25)
- Upper Lachlan Alluvium (GS44)
- Belubula Alluvium (GS12)
Public exhibition of the Lachlan Alluvium WRP is now closed. All submissions have been reviewed by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment. Public information sessions were held in Forbes, Hillston and Cowra in October and November 2018.
