Training courses open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to install non-urban water meters.

Training for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to install non-urban water meters

We invite Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander plumbers, electricians, landscapers, and other qualified tradespersons, apprentices, and employees to register for one of the below 3-day training courses to become qualified to install and validate non-urban water meters. Non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses are also eligible to apply.

To apply to join a training course, please fill in this online form by the closing date for the course.

  • Deniliquin: Tuesday 20 – Thursday 22 February 2024,  register by Tuesday 6 February 2024 at 5pm (AEDT)
  • Hunter Valley: Register for future courses

This course is delivered under the Murray–Darling Basin Plan by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water and jointly funded through the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment and the NSW Government.
