Public exhibition of the draft replacement Water Sharing Plan for the Towamba River Unregulated and Alluvial Water Sources 2022 was held from Monday 9 May to Sunday 19 June 2022 and has now closed.

Outcomes of public exhibition

The public exhibition period provided valuable feedback that helped develop and inform proposed changes to the Water Sharing Plan for the Towamba River Area Unregulated and Alluvial Water Sources 2023.

The department has reviewed all submissions received during the public exhibition period.

The views expressed in the submissions are the views of the respondents. While the department seeks to ensure that offensive material is not published, the department is not responsible for the views expressed in the submissions.

A fact sheet titled outcomes of public exhibition (PDF, 111.29 KB) has been prepared post the consultation across the Towamba River Area to capture key areas of feedback and provide transparency around how the issues that were raised are being addressed.
